Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical characteristic and treatments of patients with Crohn's disease(CD).Method: Clinical data of 43 cases with CD were retrospectively analyzed from Jan 1998 to Dec 2004.Results:Among 43 CD cases,30 men,13 women,male/female ratio 2.3:1,mean age 37.9 yeas(range 18~69 years).Main symptoms and signs included ab- dominal pain(93.02%),diarrhea(58.14%),fever(69.77%),weight loss(46.51%).Fistulation was the postoperative complica- tions.Barium meal examination and endoscopy were still the major diagnostic methods.26 cases(60.47%)were diagnosed cor- rectly,and 17 cases(39.53%)were misdiagnosed.42 cases received SASP or/and steroid therapy,18 cases(41.86%)were giv- en parenteral nutrition,and 16 cases(37.21%)need operation.38 cases(88.37%)turned for the better after treatment,5 cases (11.63%)died.Conclusion:The incidence of CD was increased during these years.Clinician should pay more attention to the diagnosis and treatment of CD.
