Old Collections and New Technology: Documenting the Domestication of Chenopodium in Eastern North America

The emerging picture is one of indigenous domestication of two crop chenopod types that appear to have been important foods in the prehistoric Midwest and Midsouth during the Woodland period and early part of the Mississippian period.
