The performance of silver catfish (Rhamdia quelen) juveniles was evaluated at temperatures of 20, 23 and 26 oC using animals with initial average weight of 25 grams and reared for 33 days in polyurethane boxes of 1,000 liters capacity. Fish were fed once a day with extruded commercial ration with 36% crude protein. Final average weight, average weight gain, specific growth rate and aparent food conversion were determined. Results indicate that juvenile silver catfish present better performance at 23.7 oC.
