Abstract

This second edition is a brilliant contribution to the researcher's toolkit. The author takes great care to build up the reader's understanding of literature review by providing easy to follow steps in the early chapters. The primary four stages of producing a review of the literature demonstrate the sequential elements in managing the abundance of information captured in Phase one and refining it into phase two against themes. Explanations relating to interrogation and scrutinising of the data is very well articulated and sets the researcher on the correct path of being able to appraise published literature.
