Freehand-style bird-and-flower ceramic painting techniques expand artistic language with new color palette, composition styles, and brushwork representations.

Abstract

Contemporary freehand-style flower-and-bird paintings in new color have achieved great breakthroughs in artistic language, especially in the aspects of palette, composition and brushwork. The palette has been expanded by introducing the colors of western paintings and Chinese folk arts; the composition has been more verified with the absorption of different art styles, and the brushwork has been developed with more attention given to the representation of spirit in form and the creative application of thick and thin strokes.
