Abstract
Royal ceremonies took on weighty political and propagandistic significance in the Castilian late Middle Ages. The author here analyses the scenography developed for such events based on diverse literary testimonies and on artistic works such as the so-called Book of Coronation of the Kings of Castile and Aragon , problematic in terms of chronology and attribution.
