Abstract

Cultural diplomacy (CD) is a set of actions and practices which employ the exchange of values, traditions, beliefs, and other aspects of national or international culture to create or strengthen relationships, improve communication or cooperation, and promote mutual interest. CD may function independently, though often appears as an adjunct to political and economic diplomacy.
