Gold Leaching from Waste Printed Circuit Board by Iodine Process

A new approach for leaching gold from waste printed circuit board(PCB) by iodine process is investigated.The rational parameters for iodine leaching gold from waste PCB are 1.0%~1.2% iodine concentration,n(I2)∶n(I-)=1∶8~1∶10,H2O2 concentration l%~2%,the leaching time 4h,the weight ratio of solid to liquid phase 1∶10,leaching gold at normal temperature(25℃),pH=7.Gold leaching recovery can reach at about 95%.Iodine leaching of gold has a high recovery of gold and iodine with less environmental pollution.
