STUDY ON CORROSION AND MATERIAL SELECTION FOR DESULPHURIZATION UNIT IN REFINERY

Corrosion types of wet hydrogen sulftide attack,amine corrosion,amine stress corrosion crack- ing and H_2S-CO_2-H_2O corrosion etc.were introduced.Based on the typical process flow of desulfurization unit and corrosion types at different parts,corrosion and material selection for equipment and pipes of absorption system,lean/rich liquid heat exchanging system solvent regeneration of the desulfurization unit were explored.
