Research on Near-Infrared Camouflage Dye for Nylon Fabrics

To study the dyes with near-infrared camouflage function and processing technology suitable for nylon fabrics,homemade dyes with camouflage function were screened out through testing spectrum reflection characteristics of the dyes on the fabrics in visible and near-infrared area. Besides,the effects of dyes on K /S value and color fastness of printed fabrics were discussed. The results show that dye has the advantages of simple and good planar structure as well as good camouflage effect. Through testing spectrum reflection characteristics and color fastness of the dyes on the fabrics,20 types of dyes which can be used for military nylon fabric camouflage print are selected from more than 60 types of homemade dyes. The results show that weak acid dye has the best printing effect. In addition,the formula and process of nylon woodland four-color camouflage printing is gained and used in practical production.
