Abstract
The copolymer of PVDF-g-PMMA was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP)and the extent of grafting was 10.2%. Then, PVDF-g-PMMA/POSS nanofibrous membranes were prepared through electrospun process. The effect of POSS on morphology, mechanical and the change of crystal structure of polyurethane fibers was carefully investigated. In comparison with the pure PVDF-g-PMMA nanofibers, the AFD was lesser and crystallinity of PVDF-g-PMMA/POSS membranes decreased 13.0%. Meanwhile, the composite nanofibers have rougher surface and better mechanical properties with increasing POSS content, when the POSS was 2%, the tensile strength reached 8.01 MPa.
