Reflections on waterfall bay

Chris and I leave Christchurch early in the morning and arrive in Waterfall Bay eight hours later. Scotty meets us and shows us around the property-a well-equipped two-storey bach overlooking the bay. The sun is shining on the water and a bellbird sings. Bushes of grapefruit, tangerines, lemons and limes scent the air. I smile from ear to ear...
