El Partido Comunista de Argentina y el Frente Popular en 1935: el inicio de un cambio estratégico y la relación con socialistas y radicales

The objective of this work is to analyze the political impact that the adoption of the "Popular Front" strategy, postulated in the VII Congress of the Communist International (IC), had on the Communist Party of Argentina (PC) during the previous months and after the Avellaneda National Conference, held in October 1935, on which that orientation crystallized. We will focus on the elements of change regarding the preceding stage, to contrast the communist interpretation of the political regime inaugurated after the coup of September 1930 and the actors that were involved in it, particularly the Socialist Party (PS) and the Union Radical Civic (UCR). Thus, we will seek to contribute to what we consider a historiographical vacancy in the studies on Argentine communism, providing a political and discursive analysis of its development from the adoption of the Popular Front strategy.
